香港に最も根づいている日本のものは何だろう？
香港誌編集者３人と飲茶を囲んで雑談しているうちに、
こんな疑問がわいてきた。
だが、答えは即席めんの「出前一丁」。「老若男女を問わず、
香港人の生活の一部に
なっている」と３人。
あまりに香港に溶け込んでいるため、「日本のもの」だと気づかなかった。
製造元の日清食品（香港）の広本孝司総経理は「味に加えて、『日本製品は高品質』という
イメージが、人気の大きな要因」と話す。
販売開始は１９６９年。今は袋詰めだけで２５種類が出回り、
香港の即席めん市場の約５割を占める。
香港支局助手によると、メニューを「出前一丁」に限定している大衆食堂まであるという。

香港住んでるけど、ローカルのレストラン行くと、麺の種類の中に「Icho」ってあるよ。
スープは自家製、麺はインスタントって妙な取り合わせで出すとこもあるね。
あとなんかのイベントで出前坊や一家の着ぐるみが舞台で香港芸能人と戯れてるのをテレビで観た。キモかった。

だからインスタントラーメン作るナベや丼などを

メルボルンの東洋系の食品店では出前一丁が箱売りで買えます。３０袋入っていて大体１５豪ドルです。豚骨味か海鮮味か東京醤油味のをいつも買って赤字の時にしのいでいます。

イギリス在住の俺はいつもお世話になってます。物価の高いこの国で一袋70円弱っていうのも大きい。韓国の辛ラーメンだと100円こえるからねー。とんこつ味を見つけたときは泣いた（味はそれなり）。ただし、味噌ラーメンは中華味噌を使っているので違和感ありまくり。
