【エジプト】スフィンクスは「反イスラム」？遺跡の彫像で「宗教見解」論争
古代遺跡が多く残るエジプトで、イスラム教権威が彫像を反イスラム的とするファトワ（宗教見解）を出したことに対し、芸術家や知識人らが反発、論争になっている。大統領任命のエジプトのイスラム教最高権威ゴマー師は昨年末、偶像崇拝を禁じるイスラム教の戒律を改めて示し、彫像を家に飾ることを禁じるファトワを出した。先月、マスコミで論争が報じられ、別の宗教権威が禁止対象に「古代エジプトの彫像も含まれる」とファトワで指摘した。
アフガニスタンの旧タリバン政権が偶像攻撃でバーミヤン遺跡の大仏立像を破壊しただけに「エジプトの遺跡破壊をイスラム原理主義者に促しかねない」と危惧する声が続出。政府高官や穏健派宗教関係者は「今や彫像は崇拝対象ではない」「時代遅れだ」と反論している。

まったく宗教ってのは本当に近視眼的に視野も狭く偏狭な考えをするんだなぁ
だからこそ宗教なのかもしれんが
宗教なんか生活のオマケみたいなもんだろうが
